We all want to thrive in life. But as we look around us, it's clear that the world isn't thriving.
And even as followers of Jesus, it’s easy to become disheartened by how slow and hard our growth in him can seem.
But, in his mercy, God has give us his word as the way for us to find, and flourish in, his life. By hearing, practising and delighting in it together, we grow: we become firmly rooted, fully alive, and forever fruitful as we allow his word to work in us and the world around us.
We pray that Word Alive 2024 will encourage and equip us to grow in the word.
2024 Programme
Our main speaker is H.B. Charles, pastor of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, USA.
For our Morning Tracks, speakers include Nancy Guthrie, Clare Heath-Whyte, Elspeth Pitt and Nick Tucker.
And we’ll have a range of afternoon Seminars to equip us to thrive and serve in the real world by tackling more specific topics we face in our homes, churches,
workplaces and communities.
We’ll finish each day with our Evening Celebration where we come together to hear God speak and to celebrate all he has done in joyful worship and prayer.
