You can choose between the convenience of Half Board and the flexibility of self-catering, as well as from a range of standards of accommodation.
All the accommodation is in apartments, which are on the ground or first floor and have one or two bedrooms (sleeping two per room in either a double or two single beds) as well as two single beds or a sofabed in the lounge/kitchen area. Five or seven berth units have a bunk bed and a single bed in one bedroom. For Word Alive all prices include electricity and heating. Please note that unlike previous years you need to bring your own bed linen (apart from Club which will have linen provided). Pillows and duvets are provided in all apartments.
Self-catering gives you independence and space to organise your day as you wish. Pontins has its own on-park supermarket for your basic needs. There are also some food vans providing a tasty break from doing the cooking yourself.
If you fancy a holiday without the cooking and washing up then half board is for you. This year Pontins are charging £15/day for each person (over 18s) or £7.50/day for a child (aged between 4 and 18. Under 4s are free). Pontins can usually cater for special dietary requirements.
- Wide range of food available
- Healthy and vegetarian options
- Tea, coffee and soft drinks included
When you book simply add the number of half board places you would like and you will be charged £75/adult or £37.50/child extra. Please note that some of your party can be half board while others are self-catering.
The accommodation for self-catering and half board comes in three grades. If you’ve been to Word Alive before please note that most of the bed arrangements have changed from previous years.
