You can still join us at Word Alive 2019!
Accommodation available on site: due to some cancellations we have some accommodation on site available to book. There are a variety of sizes and grades of unit. See our website for details and to book.
Stay off site
Staying off site is an increasingly popular option. Choose the type of accommodation you’d like – B&B, caravan, hotel, air BnB etc – and then buy Event Passes to attend Word Alive. We’ve held the price from last year, under 4s are still free. There are also a number of concessions which might apply to you.
Our forums are a good way of advertising or requesting spare accommodation or anything else you have or need! Go to HERE
We are delighted to have Dan Strange with us to lead one of the morning tracks. He is going to be speaking on ‘magnetic points’ – that is questions non-Christians ask that only the gospel truly answers. He will help us understand these points of connection and how we can point to Jesus through them.
We’re aware that for some of you, Easter is an important revision time. So this is to let you know we’ve designated some spaces around the site as revision areas at certain times. Details will be in the programme on site.
We need some team to make the event run in a few areas. We are currently looking for stewards and some sales team. It’s a great way to serve people at the event and we’ll provide food and accommodation. If that is a role you could take on, or you know anyone who would be interested please contact the Word Alive office.
Thanks to those who have told us who will be in their chalet, including the ages of children. That’s a great help to us in planning the children and youth teams. If you haven’t filled your information in yet, please go to your booking to do so.
Inflatable Activity Vote
Thank you to everyone who voted in our poll to decide between Last Man Standing or Combat Archery in our inflatable activity marquee. For a while it looked like we would end up with 52% versus 48%, and we all know the dangers of that! Actually, it was even worse – 50%/50%. We’ve decided to stick with Last Man Standing as it covers the widest age range.
