We were delighted with the level of interest in general on site bookings back in July and hope you were able to make your booking. We are currently fully booked for general on site units, but you can join our waiting list. Some units usually become available in January.
The other way to attend Word Alive is to organise your own accommodation off site. If you haven’t done this before you may have questions about how it would work - where you would park, buy food etc. We’ve put together a leaflet designed to help make off site work for you.
Staying Off Site includes nearby accommodation recommendations, information on getting food on site and local shops, advice on accessing ‘chalet TV off site’ as well as guidance on parking and access to the site. You can view or download here.
Event Passes & Discounts
If you stay off site you’ll need to buy event passes to attend Word Alive. They are now on sale here.
Don’t forget there are half prices passes for full-time church or Christian ministry workers and their families, students and OAPs, as well as those on a low income. You can read more about this here.
Student units went on sale at the end of August and there are currently plenty available so do make your booking. They will be held for students until the end of November when any remaining units will go on general sale.
Morning Bible Readings
We are excited to be having David Cook back with us to give our Bible Readings. David will be teaching us from Proverbs. This is a book we don’t often have taught and we’re looking forward to David showing us how to approach and apply it to our lives. Our youth and children’s programmes will also follow Proverbs so families can discuss what they are learning together.
At the event this year we showed some short videos focussing on a central gospel truth: God’s word, our sin, Jesus' sacrifice and sovereign control. They were shown in the morning Bible Readings. If you would like to use them in your church or CU, they are available for you to download for free here.
