Step 1: Decide whether to stay on or off site
Read more about staying on site or off site to help you choose.
Whichever you choose, you’ll have full access to the Word Alive programme and the Holiday Park facilities.
Step 2: Book online
Off site
Once you’ve chosen your off site accommodation (some suggestions here), you need to buy an event passe for each person attending. Read more about event passes here. On sale from 1 September 2022.
On Site
When bookings open, come to this site and click ‘Book Now’. Then follow the instructions. You will be asked for a deposit of £100 for each unit booked.
Group organisers
Please note we seek to put groups in accommodation near each other but this can only be done with accommodation of the same grade and size. So if you would like to be next door to each other make sure you book the same type of accommodation.
Step 3: Final payments
Final payments for on site accommodation are due by 25 January 2023.
Enquiries
To make an enquiry or change to your booking the lead name should contact Word Alive on mail@wordaliveevent.org.
On site discounts
discount for CU & international
students
A limited number of units have been discounted and reserved for students. Standard self-catering apartments sleeping 4 people are available at £580 or £145 each for 4 people. You can only book per apartment.
When you book you must tell us which Christian Union or International group you attend. Please note that student bookings open on 1 September 2022.
low income discount
We offer a bursary towards coming to Word Alive when the main income earner receives either Universal Credit, Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, has a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate or receives certain types of housing benefit. The bursary is £100 for each person attending Word Alive who is dependent on that low income, up to a maximum of £500. For example, a qualifying couple with two children would get a £400 reduction on their accommodation cost.
When you book you will have the option to choose ‘low income bursary’. You will then need to state the type of support or allowance you receive, of which you will need to send us proof. You will also need to fill in how many dependents are attending, for the cost of your unit to be reduced accordingly. Please note that the bursary is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We are unable to offer reduced price half board meals.
