All on site accommodation is in apartments, which have one or two bedrooms (sleeping two per room in single beds) as well as a sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen area.
For Word Alive all prices include electricity and heating. Please note you need to bring your own bed linen. Pillows and duvets are provided.
Accommodation grades
Standard
Offering good value for money, standard apartments have a TV, a bathroom with
bath and shower and a lounge area.
Club
Club apartments have all the facilities of standard, but include a complimentary
tea and coffee pack, iron, daily newspaper token and 2pm check in.
Studios
Studios accommodate just two people in a double bed. They have a small kitchenette
with a toaster, microwave, kettle and TV. The bathroom has a full-length bath and shower.
All on site accommodation includes event passes for the number of beds in the chalet (i.e. 2 for a studio, 4 or 6 for the others).
Self-Catering &
Half Board
You can choose between the convenience of half board and the flexibility of self-catering.
Pontins charge as follows:
- £75/adult (Age 14+)
- £37.50/child (Age between 4 and 13; under 4s are free).
When you book simply add the number of half board places you would like and pay at the checkout page along with your chalet deposit.
The accommodation for self-catering and half board comes in two grades, standard and club. All accommodation has a fitted kitchen including a toaster, microwave, kettle and basic utensils.
Children
Except for when registered in the appropriate Word Alive programme sessions, children may not be left alone without full adult supervision. Whilst every care is taken children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times. At least one adult (over 18) must occupy each unit of accommodation. Children should not be left unattended in their accommodation.

Pontins can usually cater for special dietary requirements.

Disabled guests
There are a limited number of accommodation units that have been modified for wheelchair users.

students
A limited number of units have been discounted and reserved for students. Standard self-catering apartments sleeping 4 people are available at £580 or £145 each for 4 people. You can only book per apartment.
When you book you must tell us which Christian Union or International group you attend. Please note that student bookings open on 1 September 2022.
low income discount
We offer a bursary towards coming to Word Alive when the main income earner receives certain benefits.
